Gautheirs’ Offshore Tanks are designed to meet the requirements of IMDG, DOT, ISO, and DNV regulations. The crash frame and base structures are built in accordance to DNV 2.7-1 with some models being ISO approved. The worldwide offshore industry has accepted DNV 2.7-1 as the international standard for offshore CCU’s(Cargo Carrying Units). DNV 2.7-1 was developed by the Norwegian standards organization Det Norske Veritas. DNV 2.7-1 was first published in 1986 and was quickly recognized as the offshore industry standard. The code is a rigorous set of material requirements, manufacturing procedures, and maintenance rules that ensure safe cargo transport in the offshore environment.
